Green Bean with Sweet Potato Delight

Watercress with Luohan Guo Soup


  • Green Bean: 160g

  • Sweet Potato:250g

  • Water: 3 litres

  • Pandan Leaves: 6 pcs

  • Honeycomb Sugar: 150g

  • Sago: 30g (optional)

  • Dried Mandarin Orange Peel: Small portion (optional)

Cooking Method

  1. Wash green beans and soak for 1hour. Wash, peel and cut sweet potato into bite size.

  2. Boil green beans with 2 litres of water and dried mandarin orange peel on high heat for approximately 45 minutes till green beans are softened.

  3. Additional, add 1 litre of water with pandan leaves, sweet potatoes and sago, boil for another 15 minutes.

  4. When sago turns transparent, turn off heat and add honeycomb sugar to taste. Serve
