Bene’s food photography course was such an eye opening experience for me! He started off with a presentation to explain the theory aspect of food photography - basic camera functions and how to light your food. Afterwards I got to have a hands on experience on photographing food where Bene demonstrated how to light the subject and the things to take note. It was super informative for a beginner like me, everything was explained with much care and guidance! He gave a lot of good tips and advice throughout the course. Bene and his partner were super welcoming and I really enjoyed the course! Highly recommend this course to everyone 👍🏻
Bonus points: their pet dog Sunday was there and he was so friendly as well 🥺
Attended Bene's workshop together with my photography colleagues in July 2025. The workshop is really fun and relaxed, and he apportioned two-thirds of the time to do practical lessons. Some workshops I attended, usually they spend one-third or half of the time on theoretical part, rather than spending more time on practicals. I highly recommend Bene for those who wants to learn basic food photography, and I'm sure you'll learn fast with him.
